Come Bask in Penzance!!!

Are you a nature lover?
The Summer months are the perfect time of year to come and explore the beautiful sights of Cornwall. With plenty of coastal paths to explore - Penzance and the Penwith Peninsuler are places you will want to keep coming back to time and time again!

The perfect time to spot dolphins here in Penzance and South West Cornwall!
Around mid May to mid June is the time to see Basking Sharks just off our coast! Don't be afraid - Basking Sharks are known as the gentle giant and only feed on plankton. As broadcasted on Country File on BBC 1 on Sunday the 8th May , they showed off some of the places to come and explore  - here is the link if you missed it:

Open wide!!

Basking Sharks cause no harm - they only eat plankton :)

Check out these people getting up close and personal - bring a snorkle and get even closer!!

Penzance is the perfect little town to stay - just down the road from the outdoor Minack Theatre at Porthcurno (just past St. Buryan) overlooking arguably one of the most beautiful bays in the UK - Porthcurno Beach - which is a perfect place to spot these amazing creatures:

Aaaaahhhh, sooo CUTE! You must be tempted now?!

So after you have had your relaxing day at the beach, walking, swimming, or snorkling - and hopefully spotted a few sharks - our new Art Hotel in Penzance has some great rooms which will keep you exploring inside. There are no blank walls here at the Artist Residence Hotel. We recommend Muju World, designed by local St Ives Artists - where you can look up at the nights sky from your bed:

Gorgeous sea views from up here - sit and eat your beakfast and gaze at St Michaels Mount!

Or after all your fresh air - and you fancy a drink - at the World Famous Admiral Benbow Pub is directly opposite us. You may like to stay in the Admiral Benbow room, designed by Jo Peel - who graduated from the Falmouth University:

Look at some of our other rooms on offer at the following link, we look forward to seeing you in this wonderful part of the world!
