Royals visiting Penzance this June!

The Queen Elizabeth II is to visit Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly  on June 3!

The Queen's visit to Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly next month will be her first visit to the region in 30 years.

The WONDERFUL ISLES OF SCILLY!

The Queen last travelled to Penzance in 1980, when she opened the quay at Newlyn and visited Geevor Tin Mine.

Really? Is it really the Queen?! Look a little bit closer! It really is the Queen... in a TIN MINE!
It is thought the Royal visit to the Isles of Scilly  could take in the new school under construction on St. Mary's and the naming of the Matt Lethbridge, a new £53,000 Fisheries patrol vessel.

The Scillonian Ferry

Is this really part of the UK ... more like the Carribean you would think?1 Wrong... the Isles of Scilly are in the UK - just 2hours away from Penzance!

Tresco Gardens - Enticing to say the least!

Ps. It was rumoured the Isles of Scilly honeymoon was on the isles for Prince William and his wife Kate! Anyone spot them?!
