The Greenbank Fal River Festival - May Bank Holiday Event!

The Greenbank Fal River Festival, which will run from May 27th - June 5th, is all about celebrating life on the river in Cornwall :)

This fantastic 10 day festival encompasses over 150 - yes 150! - events varying from music and drama, the arts and heritage to gig racing, swimming, walking and lots more!

Lets go Sailing in Falmouth!

The festival was established in 2006 and is now in its 6th year! This wonderful Falmouth Festival is a real chance to embrace the places, people, history, culture and industry that is connected by this very Cornish river!

"With its diverse mix of events taking place at dozens of locations around the river Fal, the festival offers something for everyone and is a real chance to engage with life on the river and discover some of its fascinating history"

Kurt Jackson at 50' Exhibition
May 27th - June 5th 2011

Kurt Jackson is one of Britain's most compelling contemporary painters. This celebratory exhibition marks his 50th birthday, with the work offering an insight into the world of an artist and environmentalist who has explored a wide range of materials and techniques during his 30 year career.

Just one of Kurt Jackson's truly spectacular paintings - we LOVE the bold vibrant colours!
Anyone remember the Tate Britain exhibition - having studied at Chelsea Art College, our college was next to the Tate Britain where they had Kurt Jackson's work on show - it really stood out and was so inspiring!
